Camp is finally here!
Before the festivities kick off Thursday morning, I'm going to take a stab at who will and will not be at tryout camp. There are 18 players we know are property of the Express, 17 draft picks and the 1 tender that has been announced.
Group #1 - Guys I think will definitely be attending camp: Dylan Porter, Mac Williams, Carson Curran, Tom Glomski, Fredrik Csisar, and Marian Fiala
Group #2 - Guys I hope will be attending, but I'm not sure of: Zach Vierling, Cam Stowers, Tim Smith, Jake Sloat, Justin Lee, Stephen Carew, and Josh Daley
Group #3 - Guys I'm not holding my breath for: Anthony Hayes, Tom McCarthy, Adam Schmidt, Dan Cecka
Group #4 - Guys I don't expect at all: Scott Winkler
Now it would be awesome if all 18 guys were in attendance, but if we can get all the guys in group #1 and group #2 I would be happy. The group #3 guys are currently on USHL rosters, but could show up at camp as a backup if they don't make the final USHL cuts.
We'll find out Thursday morning. See you at the rink.
