No, not really, but there was a trade involving the Express made yesterday. The rights to former Express forward Sean Randall were traded to the Alaska Avalanche. Randall played in 4 games for the Express early this season, scoring a hat trick in the 12-1 victory over Kenai River at the Showcase in September. He hadn't been with the team since the Albert Lea game on September 27th. The trade was officially announced yesterday, but Sean has already played in 3 games for the Avalanche, and scored a goal against Fairbanks a few weeks ago.
Although things didn't work out here in Owatonna, I wish good luck to Sean up in Alaska.
See you at the rink.

When is the trade deadline over? Do you think they will make any other moves? I would assume that they might release 1 goaltender.
Pappy -
I believe Cullen said the rosters are frozen on February 10th. What you have then is what you got for the rest of the season.
I do think there might be some more moves before then, but who knows what Cullen is thinking.

Coach says he is not done yet whatever that may mean.
As a billet the kids we know are nervous.
Looks like Chris Barth should've taken some time to show Brian Schack how to fight honorably when they were both playing for the Express.

It's on youtube, just do a search for Brian Schack. On gopherpucklive.com, Schack was getting ripped pretty bad about it. Surprisingly though, Lucia on his pregame show praised him for being the one guy who stood up for his teammates. The WCHA could see it differently though.
