I take it as a good sign that he specifically mentioned playing junior hockey. So, we'll see him at tryout camp, and hopefully in September.
Rumors about North Iowa Coach leaving?? The folks over on the glassrattler boards are speculating that North Iowa Outlaws coach Dave Boitz might be leaving to take over the head coaching position with the Alaska Avalanche. Ordinarily I wouldn't believe much of what I read on there, but Marc Foster seems to think there might be something to it. Seems like a wierd move for him, especially this far into the summer. North Iowa is hosting the Robertson Cup next year, so he is assured of a spot in the championship round of the playoffs. Well maybe he didn't want to watch the Express win the Cup on his home ice.
