Interesting idea for a blog, I like it. Here's a thought, although it's only been a 3 year lifespan how about an all time Express team. Could be fodder for interesting debate.

Great minds think alike. I was actually saving that for the dead time between tryout camp and the start of the season.

Who cares! Its the past, lets look toward the future.

So using your anonymous logic we should have an all time FUTURE Express team? Once again proving that anonymous posts don't belong here.

Oh C'mon now. I can't be the only fan who remembers this stuff. It was our first game! It was against Springfield and Jamie Ruff scored the first goal assisted by James and Joel. I remember thinking too bad it wasn't Sean. That would have been great. Jamie is a great kid though and now he's in Express history. Note *Express* history, not Southern Mn, not Owatonna, for all you crabby people out there who have to differentiate between the two.

Question 4. This had to be Barth for fighting. Schack didn't get physical til later in the season and Mark unfortunately didn't get a lot of playing time. I remember the fight and the crowd reaction--most had never seen such a thing. It set off quite a buzz in the community.

Andrew Ross was the starting goalie through the showcase, so I'll have to go with A on question 5. Hopper came in soon after. Brandon didn't make it too far into the season. Interesting to note that half of the starting lineup went D1. Heard Hopper might be playing somewhere D1 this fall. Not sure if it's true.If that's true, 5 out of the 6 on answer B are D1 as of this fall with Joel lighting it up in D3.

I'll have to pass on the bonus questions as I was in the stands. My left field guess is Murray though.

I can't believe no one else has chimed in on this one. It was a great season.

When did Roy get his first haircut?

"Anonymous" 2 posts up had the answers correct, and Dave Swenson was Roy's color guy.
