The NAHL released the Showcase schedule this morning. Go to the league's site to see it in entirety. Here's what the Express have:
September 17, 2008 - Mahoning Valley
September 18, 2008 - USNTDP-17
September 19, 2008 - Marquette
September 20, 2008 - Kenai River
Sounds like the complete season schedule will be released this week as well.

I gotta say that I'm a little disappointed Motor City isn't on there...I'm just guessing here, but the NAHL, Motor City and Owatonna probably all agreed it would be best if those two teams didn't play at all this season, unless it's in the playoffs.
Think about it. If the Express beat the Machine, no surprise, if the Machine win, Romaniski and Schneider will brag for 15 years. It's a no win for the Express to play the Machine. Besides, if the Express were beating the machine, Romaniski would send out the goons to fight. Again, a no win for the Express. It would be great to meet them in the Rob. Cup, though.
Sounds like the powers that be are afraid of Romaniski. I say lets scrimmage them. No chicken here. Sure they will goon it up. I guess we wouldn't have anyone who could fight so maybe we could borrow someone with balls from Iowa.
I would like to see Cullen and Romaniski get into it! Get it on youtube!
Shucks... we already had the tinfoil on.

I think it would be great to pound the machine!!!!
It would be kinda nice to see the Express play the Machine at the Four Seasons for a weekend series. It would be a sell out crowd.
I would be afraid to lose to the Motor City Machine. I hope we never have to play them.
It would be such a black eye if we ever lost to them. I have so much dislike for them. How did they ever think outsiders could come into Owatonna anyway.
They did ok. I liked the season and the team so speak for yourself.
I dont think Matt or Marc liked SOME of us either for that matter!!
Matt R wants to play the Express and says he will beat us.
Is a warm-up game before the Showcase in Blaine out of the question with the Machine?? Like we did with Topeka last year?
