It's being reported on the Gopher Hockey blog that former Express defenseman Stu Bickel is going to leave the University of Minnesota and sign a pro contract with the Anaheim Ducks.

Good point about Des Moines. For those who don't keep up on the AHL, the Anaheim Ducks announced a few weeks ago that their AHL affiliate will play in Des Moines, Iowa. Des Moines used to be the home of the Iowa Stars, affiliated with the Dallas Stars. So good luck in Des Moines Stu.
