Just a couple of odds & ends for a slow Tuesday.

4/27/2007 - vs Fargo-Moorehead Jets. This was one of the best games EVER!! To win the game in the THRID OVERTIME and go to the Robertson Cup.
I liked ALL the games EXCEPT when we lost against Alexandria who came from behind and beat us. That darn team gets my goat!
Did we win in the Cup? I am new in Owatonna and hear our team is the best in the league. I do not follow jr. hockey at all so this is new for me. Are the coaches former pros?
BK Can we get the Hanson brothers this year? Will our bank account allow it?
They are wonderful.
My personal all time fave games would be both the aforementioned 3 OT game and the clinching game of the Fargo series in '06. I did the roadtrip to Fargo for that one. It made the redeye trip back home bearable.
As far as the Hansons go, Viracon was the ones that made that possible a couple of years back.

Gosh, I liked the games we won. I did not like any of the games we lost.
The more the better.
I do not have any loyality to any of our coaches past and present.
I enjoyed the games vs Iowa, here at home for all 3 years.
They were exciting, fun and well attended.
They were my favorite games.
Now Iowa and the Express head to a new season with new players and not any vets so this season looks good also. I will buy tickets for those games. Hope those beer nights are cheap!
my favorite game was the 9-8 loss to Alexandria on Dec 8, 2007. The Express coach told our fans at the end of the second period that we probably could score 11 or 12 goals against them by the end of the game. At the time the score was 7-3 and we lost 9-8 in OT. Alex scored five goals in eleven minutes in the third period. The Express were the cockiest team in the division last year. Hopefully, that will change this year.
I do not agree with the previous poster that the Express players were cocky. Coach Romaniski was the only one that was cocky. That game brutalized our prized vets to the max. We had egg on our face after that fo fo. Beware of bragging it may come back and nip one in the rear.
Remember early 2006 when we lost bigtime after Pat screamed at the ref and an express player for calling an offsides against the express.
Pat lost it bigtime and it sure cost us that game.
Thats when Pat traded that player the very next day or so.
Lets hope Pat holds his temper in check ;)
My favorite games are when the beer is sold cheap.
