Here's the gist if you don't want to read the article:
- CJ Willms and Ben Beaudoin are going to join Jamie Ruff at UW - River Falls.
- Brian Arrigoni is going to Hamline
- Spencer MacMillan is going to St. Olaf
- Chris Slavik and Teddy Falk are going to Augsburg
That's 6 from last year's team, now throw in Matt Lipinski at Northeatern who previously committed and you have 7. I heard something about Tim Kirby attending Air Force (committed, backed out, now back in??) Maybe 8 guys moving on to college.

That is so wonderful.
I am proud that they are moving ahead in their education and hockey goals.
Hey.....whoever is running this blog. Why dont you help the professionals doing the Express web site. Ya we all bitched last year about the site but this is bloody ridiculous. Looks like it couldnt even make the audition level at America's got talent...let alone going to Vegas. Hope Pierce doesn't see this miserable excuse. Hope the team is better
I would certainly listen if the powers that be want to talk about the website. As long as they have a member of the geek squad to actually put stuff up on the website, I'll provide some content.
Sorry guys, I just can't get too excited about guys going to D3. I know it's been said the top 2 lines of a D3 team could play D1, but that's nothing to hang your hat on as far as bragging up alumni.
Things should be much better moving forward with Coach Cullen back as the Head Engineer of the Express Train.
lets not hold our breath on that one. one step and one day at a time.
Heard 7 D1 commits rejected by players last year because not in MN or not full boat. UoAF, UConn, Bentley, AIC. Players would rather stay home with full D3 rides then partial D1's out east or Alaska and have to prove themselves to get full monte.
unless things have changed, there are no such things as "rides" in D3.
There are no "athletic" scholy's at D3 but there are many ways for kids not having to pay tuition. I know one 87 turned down a partial D1 for a full D3.
