As the description above states, "I want this to be a place for constructive back and forth hockey discussion...". I just started this last Friday, and so far I have posted a few previews of some of the Express's draft picks/tenders. Feel free to chime in with your opinion, but lets keep it positive.

I sure hope the team when its finalized will be worth all the money being spent (some of it our own) :) watching. Tried to talk to the coach last week but no luck yet so far.
I think I read somewhere that Coach Cullen was out in Colorado for an NAHL meeting to set the schedule for the coming year.
Hello everybody! Lets keep this new blog free from all the nasty posts like the one that was started last year and was beyond awful and hurt our community. New people running things here should result in better posts and not a repeat in failure.
what nasty post was that? The one that told the truth about the team moving to Michigan? What a lie that one was.
The only thing that hurt our community were the outsiders who used our community to try to further spoil their kids.
No No No. Stop it. You guys need to move on. Who cares about the past and what kid did what and when and where. Quit being jealous and move on. The rest of us nice folks here are just fine and dandy with the past, present and hopefully the future. So TRY to keep this blog in the PRESENT.
It sure does not take long for the sludge to squeeze out amoung the good people of our town to ruin a good thing by hashing the last season over and over and over and over and over and over again. The season was not bad. It was different for us but we would not have had a team last year cause the original owners were going belly up and needed to sell. Grow up.
How come most people are posting as ANONYMOUS?? Are you to afraid to let people know who you are. His is a community team. It would be fun to know who some of you are so we can be friends at the RINK!!
I agree with anonymous. The last one and the second to the last one. We all need to move on and support this new organization. It is now a community organization that requires our support both as fans and financially. Operating as a non-profit will be difficult but not impossible. It is the best chance for junior hockey to flurish and grow in Owatonna.
I commend Big Kahuna for the profiles of the players that may be coming in to Owatonna. I think we can all have a good discussion about "our" team as we move towards the season.
Remember, it's all about the young men that depend on us for helping them become what they want to become. We have a unique opportunity to have a positive impact on these men and for them to add to our quality of life in Owatonna.
Remember to volunteer to help out at tryouts.
