It's a nice honor for Cory, and good press for the team. He is the first Express player honored this season. There have been some great individual performances this season, but the schedule has hindered our guys when it comes to POTW honors. Too many one-game weekends when the rest of the division is playing 2-3 times. Also the goalie rotation hurts, as a lot of other teams goalies are starting every night, and get the nod when the honors come out.

Don't forget that Cory is one of the youngest players on the roster, and is currently tied for the team lead in scoring with Stephen Carew. Congratulations Cory, keep it up.

Congratulations to Cory. He seems to be coming into his own with the team. Cullen has built a strong group of 1990 birth year players (Thorson, Fiala, Smith, Sloat, Bournazos, Daley, Vierling, Erickson, & Lugin) that could be the foundation of an excellent team for next year after they get experience this year.
