The Express got it done Friday night, knocking off the 1st place Alexandria Blizzard 6-3 in Alexandria. They jumped out to a 5-0 lead, and held off a Blizzard comeback attempt in the 3rd period. With the victory, the Express now sit only 3 points out of first place in the Central Division. The Express are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games, but the non-believers claimed it was lack of competition. What do you think of our favorite junior hockey team now??
Next up for the Express is a 4 game in 5 day stretch this week. The guys travel to Mason City for a rare Wednesday night game versus the Outlaws. The Springfield Jr Blues come to Owatonna for a pair of games Friday and Saturday at the 4 Seasons Centre, and then the Express finish the weekend with a Sunday night rematch with the Albert Lea Thunder.
See you at the rink.

You hit it on the nose BK. The team has REALLy been coming together. Scoring was spread out nicely and, except for a little let down in the third period, the team played extremely well. There were a couple of scoring chances that hit off the post or the score would have been higher. This week will be a BIG week for the team.
Today's Predictions:
MVP over USNTDP (U17)
USNTDP (U18) over Marquette
Alpena over MCM
Alexandria over Albert Lea
Topeka over St Louis
Springfield over Wichita Falls
Bismarck over North Iowa
Alaska over Wenatchee
Fairbanks over Kenai River
