19. Albert Lea Thunder (0)
A new #1 this week with St Louis claiming the top spot from Topeka who drops two spots after a somewhat surprising loss to Fairbanks. The Express stay at #13 after last weekend's split.
- Former Express goalie Nick Graves is back in the NAHL. He spent the preseason with Sioux City (USHL), was released and then picked up by Green Bay (USHL), and now has ended up back with the Alpena Ice Diggers. He spent the bulk of last season with Alpena after his brief stint with the Express.
- Things continue to get worse down in Albert Lea. The Thunder are off to an 0-7-1 start to the season, and now Assistant Coach Brian Murphy has resigned. In addition, the Thunder's #1 goalie, Brady Sand has asked to be released. If you're scoring at home (or even if you're by yourself), that's 3 coaches and 3 players who have walked away in the short history of the Thunder.
See you at the rink.
