The Express made some more roster moves today, with the addition of a couple of USHL guys. I believe one player was released, but I haven't confirmed that yet. I won't post the names until it's official.
My take: In the last 48 hours, the Express have added 4 highly talented players with USHL experience. The fairly young and inexperienced team that showed up for training camp on Labor Day, isn't so young and inexperienced anymore when you take the 4 additions this week and throw in Carew, Lugin, Palmiscno, and the others. Another aspect that I haven't mentioned yet, is that it seems that the Express are also adding some size to the roster with the latest additions.
It might take a few games for Coach Cullen to figure out where the new guys will fit into the current offensive lines/defensive pairings, but this team has the pieces needed to win the Central Division. Get your tickets today for the home opener Friday night, and you'll be able to see these guys in action.
See you at the rink.

- The first two names were posted in yesterday's blogpost, and the 2nd two I won't post until they are official, although somebody posted one of them in the comment section of yesterday's post.

I tried to get tickets for the home opener on Monday afternoon, but there was nobody in the office to help me. I did steal a copy of the season preview off of a desk, so it wasn't a completely wasted trip.
percy and that polish guy got cut for forwards and one of our new defenseman got cut as well, not sure of the name though
you can buy tickets at the door like always, it is not sold out so there is plenty of room.
see everyone at the rink tomorrow.
Regarding ticket sales--the guys in the office have been VERY busy getting ready for the opener and the whole season. Out visiting perspective sponsers and so on, so please be patient with them, as there are only 2 of them and they are working very hard to make this a success. For what it's worth, they are there pretty much every weekday from approx 8:30 - 5:00 pm, but as mentioned, you may miss them out on a call. Maybe best to call ahead 214-1893rd
