Also from Friday's People's Press via the St. Cloud Times: Former Express goalie Nathan Hardy will be the 3rd goalie for the St. Cloud State Huskies in the WCHA this season.
My take: Good things happen to good people, and I couldn't be happier that this happened for Nate. In the interest of keeping things positive around here, I won't go into all the ways Nate was wronged last year. Those of you who closely followed the team last year know the story. I assume he will red-shirt this year, and with a season of proper coaching, will be pushing for playing time in 2009/2010.

I wonder if B.J. O'Brien (former Fargo netminder) left SCSU? He was only a freshman last year. Weslosky is a Junior this year and Dunn is a sophomore, so someone must've jumped ship.
My sales rep at work whose son tried out for a few NAHL teams after being an all conference goalie at Anoka was planning on walking on at SCSU but playing baseball instead.
Did the team hire a goalie coach? It was a shame last year that they only brought in an outside goalie coach 8 times. I know it is expensive but isn't it not fair that the skaters get coached but not the goalies?
Good for Hardy! Shame on Romaninski and Bennett Schneider!
Lets spend the money for a goalie coach, we need all the help we can get!!!
What a wonderful opportunity for a nice Kid!
Hope all the boys dreams come true.
gosh didnt know dr. evil would spend money to coach anyone. he should have spent a little on teaching his nothing for brains super coach, matt. hear his team is struggling to attract players. wonder why.
SCSU's third goalie last season, BJ O'Obrien, is transferring to Division III Champion St Norbert in De Pere, WI.
Hey, lets move on and quit talking about what was and keep focused on what will be.
The Dr. and his coach are history here in MN. They moved and now have been replaced by our group.
Lets go Express!
Where did Nathan go after he left here? Last I heard it was to school in second semester--did he end up playing somewhere?
He is a great kid and it's good to hear is hockey career is continuing.
I thought I remember hearing something about Hardy playing in the MJHL for a few games after he left the Express.

So, the MJHL is a good league with not much difference if any between our teams in the Nahl.
What is wrong with this?
We submitted info and want to become a billet family for one player.
We are in line as of a couple of days only behind a couple families that are getting 2 players each.
Does this make since?
"So, the MJHL is a good league with not much difference if any between our teams in the Nahl."
--The MJHL is Junior "A" hockey, but at the Tier III level. NAHL is Tier II, USHL is Tier I. It serves the same purpose as the NAHL/USHL, and that is to prepare kids for college hockey.

Regarding the billetting question: I know very little about the process, call the billetting folks, and get an answer.

Well then we need to Give out a Con grats to Lars Paulgard for playing for U of Denver, which he is suposed to be playing this year and I plan on trying to get tickets to see him play in Mankato in dec this year. So if your going to acknoledge others we should acknoledge all of them.
