Today marks the beginning of the third month of the blog. Yes there has been a few rough days, but overall, I couldn't have envisioned things going any better than they have. I can't wait for the season to start, and just think about how much stuff we'll have to talk about then.
- I created an email address so that I can be contacted in private. If you want to talk to me, or have a tip or some news about the Express, feel free to drop me a line at owatonnaexpress@yahoo.com.
- I added a counter to the website on July 9th. It counts how many different people come to the blog on a daily basis. We are at over 3000 visitors in less than a month, and it's the middle of summer. It should get really busy once the season starts.
- I have done profiles of all of the players who have been officially announced. Apparently the NAHL has a rule that rosters cannot be announced until all of the tryout camps from each team have been completed, so there won't be any new profiles for a little while.
- I'm kicking around the idea of moving the blog to its own website. I would like to have a more traditional message board, as opposed to the comment feature as it works now, and that is not possible on Blogspot. It would also allow me to do some more things which aren't practical currently. The problem is I need to learn how to run a website, and it would cost some money for bandwidth etc.. We'll see what happens down the line.
Anyways, thanks for reading, and thanks to the people who have contributed comments. I'll see you at the rink.

try putting one on yuku.com. Seems to work good for my friend's message board.
a suggestion for another article on your web page. how about a review of teams in this division, their key returning players (if applicable) and how you think they will all end up.
Why change? Whats the difference? This spot is ok and BK is working hard and putting in a lot of his personal time.
"how about a review of teams in this division, their key returning players (if applicable) and how you think they will all end up." - That's something I already have in the works, but I can't form a final opinion until the rosters are announced. Look for those sometime in September.

How about adding a spot to keep track of the machine's wins and losses.
