One of my sources told me the Express picked up a guy from the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. The Express own the NAHL rights of 2 guys that played with the Gamblers last year: Anthony Hayes and Stephen Carew (I profiled both earlier this summer). Carew was recently released by the Gamblers, so my hunch says it is him. We'll find out in a few days.
- A handful of players have already arrived in Owatonna. Most everybody else is arriving Saturday, with practice kicking off on Monday.

Great news to acquire another player when our team has lost some good players.

- Its very early, but at this juncture I think we are even. Gehritt Sargis made the Fargo Force (-1), and we picked up the kid from the Gamblers (+1). Although I'm hearing rumblings of a 2nd guy going to Fargo which would put us at -1 overall, but his name was not on the Fargo roster that was released so it could be bullstuff. Just remember that the roster will see plenty of changes before we get into the meat of the season.
